At AIS Secondary School, we empower students from Grade 7 to Grade 12 to become confident, capable, and compassionate global citizens. In a supportive and dynamic learning environment, students are guided by expert international educators delivering the Australian Curriculum, enhanced by a strong emphasis on inquiry, innovation, and real-world relevance.
Our secondary program is designed to meet the evolving needs of adolescents as they prepare for university, careers, and life beyond school. With a focus on the whole child, we nurture academic achievement, emotional wellbeing, leadership, and a strong sense of community through our five foundational pillars: Academic, Cultural, Sporting, Community, and Wellbeing.
In Grades 7 to 10 , students engage in a broad and balanced curriculum across eight learning areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, The Arts, Technologies, and Languages. This rich academic foundation is complemented by a deep appreciation for Emirati culture, including Arabic language and Islamic studies, fostering respect and cultural understanding.
In the Senior Years, AIS offers the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), including both ATAR and non-ATAR options. This pathway builds on the inquiry-based approach of the middle years and allows students to tailor their learning to their strengths and goals. Upon graduation, AIS students earn an internationally recognised credential that opens doors to leading universities and future opportunities worldwide.
