AIS is very proud to have one of the largest campuses in the UAE with students enjoying varied learning and play spaces with friends and classmates throughout our beautiful and spacious grounds, classrooms, and labs. Our current facilities include:
- Large spacious grounds include five dedicated playground areas and three separate ovals.
- Large gymnasiums including changing rooms and a performance stage.
- Custom-built large library and resource center.
- Prayer rooms.
Teaching Blocks catering specifically to our four schools:
- Block A - Early Learning Centre and Nursery
- Block B - Primary School
- Block C - Junior Secondary School
- Block D & E - Secondary School
Within each Block are dedicated:
- Science Labs
- Theatre and Movement Rooms
- Music and Art Rooms
- Digital Technology Rooms
- Onsite Occupational and Speech Therapy Rooms
Future Development
Currently, our campus is undergoing an incredible physical transformation to match the wonderful developments in AIS curriculum, teaching practice, assessment, and reporting. Across the campus, the construction of brand new state-of-the-art teaching labs and classrooms along with upgrades to facilities designed to enhance the daily schooling life of students and teachers all combine to make AIS a school ready for the future.
Many of the improvements listed below have already been carried out with staff and students exhibiting an even greater sense of pride, belonging and care in their outstanding teaching, learning and playing areas.
Safety has been a key feature of new building works, with students’ physical care and wellbeing at the forefront of careful planning. These include:
- New classrooms, furniture and resources
- New teaching labs
- New reception area and offices
- New playgrounds with grass, soft fall, seating and rest areas
- New oval with seating and fences
- New lunch and rest areas and seating
- New AIS Cafe
- New painting and flooring
- New buses
- New sound and lighting in gym
- New phone system including all classrooms
- New photocopiers throughout the school
- New bus monitoring app and student safety system
- New Primary School Hall/Gym
- New car park
- New communication improvements, including a new website and newsletter
These upgrades are in addition to the excellent facilities and grounds already established.
