The Pre-ELC class is limited to 20 students and will have a full-time teacher and assistant. The classes are located within the Early Learning Centre in 'A' Block.
Curriculum
Teachers follow the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and is designed to support teachers to plan and implement quality teaching and learning.
It has been developed based on international research and has a specific emphasis on:
- Play-Based Learning
- Encouraging Curiosity and Inquiry
- Individualised programs supporting each child in reaching their social and academic potential
There are five learning and development areas covering social and academic skills which are used to guide out planning and assessment of children's learning.
Ages
To enrol, children must be 3 years old by August, when they enter Pre-ELC.
Times
Monday to Thursday from 8.15 AM to 12.55 PM. After school care from 12.55 PM to 14.55 PM is available free on charge.
All lessons are for 30 minutes. Arabic, PE and Library are fixed times, the rest in flexible to children's needs and interests. Class timetables will be shared with parents on ClassDojo.
Fees
Annual tuition fee is AED 42,289.50 per year.
Enrol
To enrol your child, please collect an enrolment pack from our Enrolments Office located in the C Block. Once we receive your completed enrolment pack, and enrolment interview with the Deputy Head of School will be scheduled. Following the interview, your child will be offered a place in our Pre-ELC.
