The AIS School Community has worked together during the month of October to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer patients. AIS's primary beneficiary this year is Brest Friends Organisation and Al Jalia Foundation.
The activities included;
- Creation of Diwali Art, Rangoli, of a Pink Ribbon
- Pink Ribbon Photo - Giant Human Pink Ribbon
- ‘Cookies for a Cause’ Bake Sale
- Pink Nails from La Ha Spa raising the profile of caring for our bodies
- Morning Tea Event with Guest Speakers
- Brest Friends 'Pink Crafters' Items
- Pink Roses for sale
- Pink Ribbon Art works in Junior School classes
- Wearing Pink clothes for the celebration day
- Pink Lemonade for sale
- Assembly and distribution of pink ribbons for donation
- Junior and middle school students Handball Tournaments for fundraising and raising profile of physical activity
- Middle & Senior School students' Dodgeball tournament for fundraising and raising profile of physical activity
